SAB's Tray-Rated (TR) Cable Has Flexibility
Tray-Rated
Cable is a product that has been around for many years
and continues to be a large product segment in the wire and cable
business. Usually the Tray-Rated Cable is purchased by electrical
contractors who are running wire around commercial and industrial
buildings.
The product has a very defined and predictable application.
SAB
has changed all that with our offering of Tray-Rated Cable (TR). The
product SAB offers is located in the 2004 catalog, pages D3 – D18. Not
only will our product cover the application for the classical installation
described above, plus we have added other functions to the cable
which now offer our customers the following:
- Standard I/O cable with different color conductors for AC or
DC circuits.
- Flexible Cable and Continuous Flex Cable for Cable Track applications.
- Shielded Cable for low 24-volt applications.
- High Temperature Servo Cable for 105 Degree C applications.
- VFD Cable for Drives rated from ½ to 75 Horsepower
Drives with 100% EMI shielding protection.
Customers who would be interested in our type of tray cable might
be electrical contractors but also companies involved
with material handling, food & packaging equipment, and all
types of machine builders, robot manufacturers’ and
systems integrators. Customers require the functionality
we provide in our cable. Our cable allows companies to drop
the cable from the tray cable to the machine so they can use the
same cable for both applications, minimizing stock and also eliminating
the need for a junction box or conduit.
Please look at the cable found on pages D3 – D18 and discuss
with your customers for additional sales.
