SAB Receives CCC Certification for PVC Products

SAB is now entitled to mark cables with the new CCC test mark for China. Cable types CC 600 World and CC 600 MCY along with special constructions for continuous flex applications are also available. Both cables are also available as special types suitable for cable tracks. Extensive reforms of commercial law as well as the obligation to liberalize foreign trading after China's accession to the WTO in December 2001 is a result of the new certification system changes.

The CCC label (CCC = China Compulsory Certification) is a compulsory test mark standing for quality and security in products traded on the Chinese market. The mark gives equal treatment to domestic and foreign producers.

The CCC label creates a unique standard for particular technical products in the Peoples Republic of China and replaces formerly valid labels; CCEE (China Commission for Conformity of Electric Equipment) for domestic products and CCIB (China Commodity Inspection Bureau) for imported products.
